5mth old wrestling while nursing

The best way I can describe the Moo at the moment is as a wrestler.
Every time I nurse, unles he is really tired and it is bedtime, he
kicks and squiggles and generally needs restraining on the boob. If I
take him off he cries, if I let him do what he wants he falls off and
cries. And it hurts.

Is this a teeth thing?

Yes it is. Add 2 teeth biting you into the mix and that's how it is for us!
Kam is teethin some more, and he gets on the boob shakes his head around,
and goes mad if I try to put him down. In fact he stayed on my boob all
night, if I tried to put him down he cried till I put him back.
When I was watching tv last night he sunk his teeth right in, I totally
forgot pulling him in to stop him, my reflexes wanted him off! I screamed,
and he giggled!
Another thing is do you have the baby whisperer book by Tracey Hogg? She
mentions babies being unsettled at the breast because they are not hungry,
and mom has misread the babies unhappiness, and has thought he was hungry.
I realised I was doing that myself, but if he is ill (he has a severe cough
at the mo), then he can stay at the boob as long as he likes.

Talking of which Kami wants his Boobylicious!

This happens to my 2mo daughter when she has a burp to bring up. She knows
that she likes and wants the boob, but her belly hurts. I burp her and it is
back to merry nursing.

Poor thing - 2 teeth already!

I baought the no cry sleep solutin yesterday and it has a good tip for
getting babie soff teh boob when theyget to the fluttery stage. you
just unlatch them and hold their mouth closed with your finger, you
may have to do it a few times but it worked for us a couple (not all)
of times last night.

Caterpillar is like that when she has a burp, or when she's
overtired and wants to nurse to sleep but her belly is
already full. The only solution at that point is to either
wait it out until she's hungry (as she gets more agitated
and overtired) or try rocking her to sleep.
