Garbage in, garbage out.

As Doan amply and profusely pointed out, the Straus initial study was a STELLAR
GROUP of TEENAGE, (PROBABLY AFDC receiving teenage Moms)

I used the term AFDC to point out that the study was conducted prior to 1995,
when TANF was implemented.

When you do NOT SELECT a random, representative group of the US population,
and base your sample on a skewed selection sample, your study is VIRTUALLY
WORTHLESS.

behavior truly help the family?

The Straus initial study? Which study is that, Fern? Straus has been publishing
research for several decades. Please provide references for Straus' initial
study. And how are you critiquing what you have determined to be his initial
study?

Oh goodness, Fern. Straus conducted and published so many studies prior to 1995
(when TANF was implemented) that it's tough to know which study you are regard as
his "initial study."

This is not always true, Fern. This depends on sample size, null hypothesis,
statistical methodology, and interpretation. Having said that, which study is
Straus' "initial study?"

Does LaVonne want to debate the Straus et al (1997) or not?
I have responded to her challenges. Let's see if she can
respond to mine.

Did LaVonne read the admission by Straus himself of his "failure to
perceive SERIOUS LIMITATION..."?
