Antoine Yates, the Harlem, N.Y., man with a tiger in his apartment, may face
charges for allowing children near the animal, says a police source close to
the investigation. NEWSWEEK has learned that after interviewing foster children
belonging to Yates's mother, Martha, authorities believe they were in the
apartment with the tiger until last January, when she relocated them to the
Philadelphia area. Police also told NEWSWEEK that federal authorities
investigating the exotic-animal business

There is also evidence to show the apartment once housed a lion and an
alligator.
No wonder ACS workers are loathe to open doors in their COMPREHENSIVE
INVESTIGATIONS. ;-))
Heck, those NY folks....they think people who have numbers of domestic felines
in their homes are just wusses...
