NJ DYFS will consider allowing DYFS employees to foster children, but may give
them additional benefits, other than what contractors currently enjoy.
DYFS employees would get additional sick and leave days to take care of the
wards, and would have training administered while on the job.
Traditionally CPS employees are disallowed from fostering while on the job,
since oversight might be lacking.
