Now that Michigan's attorney general is putting the pressure on dead
beat dads, man are being brought court. Bad news for some, good for
others.
My step son, who has been paying outrageous CS, was given a hearing
yesterday. The judge could not believe the injustice thrust on this
young man.
His ex, who was supposed to be there, failed to appear, even though she
was subpoenaed.
My step son's CS was lowered, and the judge is holding his ex in
contempt for not appearing. She seems to appear when it pleases her, or
when it looks like he's going to jail. She doesn't show when it's her
turn to prove what the facts are.
Maybe now the real dead beats will get their justice, and the men who
have been unfairly treated by the courts and the Friend of the Court,
will get theirs.
