I have a weekly playgroup and a monthly La Leche League meeting, but
I'd like to join a regular, well-organized playgroup / mom's club.

Any suggestions on where to find them? I've tried:

matchingmoms.org
pepsgroup.org
momsclub.com
www.gospelcom.net/mops

Plus some others I can't think of. Where else could I look? I'm
already spending too much time struggling to keep my playgroup alive,
which is why I'd like to join an already-existing organization. Oh,
I'm not religious, and I'm in New York City.

Try:

mothersandmore.org

They have an NYC chapter, although that's all I know. I do know that the
chapter where I am (northern NJ) is very active and organizes playgroups, book
clubs, etc. It's a nonsectarian organization.

Ours can usually be found via library notice boards, or through the local
council (which usually provides premises for low rent). Or through your
health providers.
