Her husband was videotaping their cute, blonde, vivacious, inquisitive,
bright laughing daughter, standing on top of a bike rack, pointing to a
rainbow. The bike rack fell, toppled on top of "Lulu" crushing her. With
time, Gretchen used her grief and pain to create this children's book in how
to look at the world in a positive way. The book comes with a pair of
rose-colored glasses and a cute pastel bow.

Please tell anyone you know who has had to cope with the death of a child!
She's a great example of taking one's coping skills after that death and
making something memorable out of that experience. I hope to see you there!

Author of " LULU'S ROSE COLORED GLASSES
Borders Bookstore in Davenport Iowa has reported that "Lulu's Rose Colored
Glasses," is their number one best seller! Harry Potter drifted to number 2.
We love you Harry, but move over and make room for Lulu!

"Gretchan will discuss and answer questions about her book.
One small excerpt from her book is as follows:
". . .The two were driving in a car, and Mrs. Pyne was not in the best of
moods. Lulu, in the back seat, donned a pair of rose-colored glasses.
She then offered them to her mother. But Mrs. Pyne resisted.
"After much pleading and begging, I tried them on and it changed my whole
perspective on the world around me," Mrs. Pyne recalled.
"We ended up having a really beautiful day. In that moment I listened to my
child, and I allowed her to change our entire day.
(Children) see things so clearly. We get the grayness and they see all the
colors."
Mrs. Pyne was inspired to write a book about that special day.
"Lulu's Rose Colored Glasses" is a book about the wisdom of simplicity and
seeing the world through a child's eyes. . . ."
