THE GREAT SQUAT ROBBERY AND UCI's HARRY B. SKINNER, MD, PhD

A GREAT HIP RECOMMENDATION

Harry B. Skinner, MD, PhD of University of California Irvine offers this hip
recommendation:

Everyone, particularly younger people, should take the hip through a full
range of motion every day, as in,

"[U]nlike the knee, which deteriorates from trauma, the hip suffers from
lack of activity. 'The normal hip is a ball,' Dr. Skinner explains. 'But if
you use it just by walking or sitting in a chair, it will convert into
something like a cylinder...and then when you try to make it work as a ball,
you won't be able to.' So, he recommends that everyone, particularly younger
people, take the hip through a full range of motion every day."

Harry,

Given your HIP recommendation (quoted above), no doubt you are working to
stop The Great Squat Robbery - the bizarre Western practice of forcing young
people to sit in chairs for prolonged periods.

The Great Squat Robbery robs children of a fundamental human range of
motion - an innate comfortable prolonged rest posture for the spine.

The Great Squat Robbery has been blamed for The Great BIRTH Robbery^^^ - the
bizarre obstetric practice of closing birth canals up to 30% and keeping
them closed when babies get stuck.

The Great Birth Robbery is being committed by OB/GYNs right there at
University of California at Irvine/UCI.

See Pediatricians: What about DURING birth?
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/chiro-list/message/3142

^^^British OB Jason Gardosi in effect blamed The Great Birth Robbery on The
Great
Squat Robbery in his 1989 Lancet "randomised controlled trial of
squatting" -
where nobody squatted...

See Two robberies: educators can stop them
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/chiro-list/message/3047

Harry, I see where you guys treat and do surgery for idiopathic adolescent
scoliosis...
http://www.ucihealth.com/News/UCI%20Health/Win01Scoliosis.htm

I wonder if The Great Squat Robbery is causing some cases of "idiopathic
adolescent scoliosis" - I wonder of there is less scoliosis in squatting
cultures - or perhaps not such a pronounced gender difference?

Regardless, if you aren't already, please work to stop both culture-wide
robberies.

Thanks.

Sincerely,

Todd

Dr. Gastaldo

PS1 The priority, of course, is stopping The Great Birth Robbery: 1) make
sure women are informed that OBs are closing birth canals up to 30% and
keeping birth canals closed when babies get stuck; and 2) make sure women
are informed that it is easy for them to allow their birth canals to OPEN
the "extra" up to 30%. (All they have to do is roll onto their sides at
delivery.)

OBs should not be keeping birth canals closed when babies get stuck.

Women should not have to ASK for the "extra" up to 30%.

I have asked UCI pediatricians to report the obvious mass child abuse
occurring at UCI...

See again: Pediatricians: What about DURING birth?
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/chiro-list/message/3142

Hopefully UCI orthopedic surgeons will also report the obvious mass child
abuse.

OBs should not be engaging in fraud and deception...

Here are the AMA Principles of Medical Ethics regarding physicians who
engage in fraud or deception...

"[AMA physician[s] shall...strive to expose those physicians...who engage in
fraud or deception."

"[AMA p]hysician[s] shall...seek changes in those requirements which are
contrary to the best interests of the patient."

"[AMA p]hysician[s] shall...make relevant information available to patients,
colleagues, and the public..."

Here are THE FOUR OB LIES...

OB LIE #1. After MASSIVE change in the AP pelvic outlet diameter was
clinically demonstrated in 1911 and radiographically demonstrated in 1957,
the authors of Williams Obstetrics began erroneously claiming that pelvic
diamaters DON'T CHANGE at delivery.

OB LIE #2. After Ohlsen pointed out in 1973 that pelvic diameters DO
change - the authors of Williams Obstetrics began erroneously claiming that
their most frequent delivery position - dorsal - widens the outlet.

OB LIE #3. After I pointed out in 1992 that dorsal CLOSES - and so does
semisitting - the authors of Williams Obstetrics - put the correct
biomechanics in their 1993 edition - but kept in their text (in the same
paragraph!) - the dorsal widens bald lie that first called my attention to
their text...

OB LIE #4. OBs are actually KEEPING birth canals closed when babies get
stuck - and claiming they are doing everything to allow the birth canal open
maximally. (ACOG Shoulder Dystocia video - also forceps and vacuum births
are performed with the mother in lithotomy.)

See Make birth better: Dan Rather, before you leave CBS...
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/chiro-list/message/2983

I noted some of the OB lies in an Open Letter to the FTC years ago...
http://home1.gte.net/gastaldo/part2ftc.html

TWO BATTERIES

1. OBs are committing a SPINAL MANIPULATION battery...

As indicated in OB Lie #4 above, OBs are gruesomely pulling with hands,
forceps and vacuums with birth canals senselessly closed up to 30%.

Sometimes OBs pull so hard they rip spinal nerves out of tiny spinal cords.

Some babies die - some get paralyzed - most "only" have their spines
gruesomely wrenched.

ALL spinal manipulation is gruesome with the birth canal closed the "extra"
up 30%.

2. OBs are routinely committing SURGICAL battery:

OBs are slicing vaginas/abdomens en masse (episiotomy/c-section) -
surgically/fraudulently inferring they are doing/have done everything
possible to open birth canals - even as they close birth canals up to 30%.

Please immediately report this obvious child abuse - and urge others at UCI
to do the same until the grisly obstetric travesty ends.

California Penal Law mandates immediate telephone suspected child abuse
reports followed by written reports within 48 hours.

I am in favor of pardons in advance for MDs. As impressionable med students
they are TRAINED to perform these obvious felonies.

Thanks for reading.

Sincerely,

Todd
