ok did my 1 hour GTT told doc I refuse to do 3 hour GTT if needed. He
didn't understand. Talked me into doing the 3 hour if needed and will
give me something for the sickness. the nurse had to stick me twice to
get my blood results. I gained 3 more lbs. I also had another
sonogram again the baby looks great and is now about 1lb 1/2 so I'm
glad about that. Baby's heartbeat is 145. Doc said he will do
csection and tie my tubes all the same day so I don't have to endure
surgery twice.

isn't 24 weeks early for the 1 hour test? I'm not doing it myself, but I
thought most people considered anything before 28 weeks too early. Glad
everything else is ok

Hey, if you've got the choice, do it as early as possible!
(Less chance of a positive screen.) I *think* I read that 26 weeks
is optimal (for the sake of diagnosis, according one one study,
but obviously you have to test much earlier if you want to catch
undiagnosed true diabetics).

Best wishes,
