View Full Version : A bit of a whine

I have been so sick. Last week from Tuesday to Saturday I ran a low-grade
fever and was absolutely miserable. I thought I was on the mend this week,
but no, not quite. This week everything I eat and drink resurfaces. Ugh.
I'm starving, so I eat. And it comes back up. So I have to figure out what
to eat again. I'm soooooo sick of it. The only time I feel good is if I'm
sleeping. My house, my kids, my husband, they are all so neglected. :(

I really hate it. Why is that I'm so hungry all the time, and I can't eat
anything without feeling positively ill? The thought of food makes me ill,
the preparation of food makes me ill, seeing food on tv makes me ill. I
have to eat, but it's the last thing I want to do. I feel like such a
whiner, but I'm just so tired of it. I want to eat and enjoy it!

Well, now that I got that out, maybe I'll feel a little better.

I was so sad to read this - - - and I've been feeling guilty for three
days for not having sent sympathy vibes sooner! Hope things are getting
better for you!

Thank you so much, Leslie. I'm taking something to combat the nausea (which
I've never done with my previous pregnancies), and it is helping. I'm
eating again, and boy, does it feel good.

Thanks, Anne. I felt like quite the wimp whining so much, but I was pretty
miserable. I'm taking something to combat the nausea, and it's helping
heaps.

Thank you, Melania! You are too sweet. :) I do feel better. Lots better!
I think it was a combination of being so sick and being pregnant, and it was
utterly miserable.
