I believe Sears has a grouping of "Husky" sizes for boys. Perhaps you can
find something appropriate for you son there.

I have a close friend with 'husky' boys. One is almost 13, and wears a
size 20 husky, which limits what she can find for him. She does get a
lot of stuff at Lands End, but I believe she's buying more adult
mediums for him than actual husky clothes. His bar mitzvah is coming
up and I know she bought him a 20 husky suit that cost an arm and a
leg because it was an odd size, but the store will do free tailoring
for a year and hopefully he'll get a lot more than one wearing out of
it.

She buys some of his stuff at Target, but nothing in kids sizes. What
I'm finding with my 11 year old daughter is that once they break a
certain height, they cannot wear children's clothing anymore, no
matter if the rest of the clothes fit. She's rail thin, but she's
wearing a Jr size 0 because 14 is too short, and 16 is just too huge
for her smallish frame.

This is a tough transition for kids. They like certain things that
come in kids sizes, and other stuff that comes in adult sizes. For
girls, the adult stuff is often what I consider inappropriate (belly
shirts and low hip hugger pants do NOT work for our family) so we
spend a lot of time looking and discarding. Boys are somewhat easier
because a lot of the logo stuff they like (team shirts especially)
come in a large variety of sizes.

I guess I'd recommend moving up to adult sizes but warning you that
they're more expensive and sometimes will fit oddly.
