View Full Version : Just a little rant!

Arg! 4.5 weeks left to go, and I've already gone insane.
This afternoon we have our little moms/babies/tots group. That should be
interesting, as I'm ready for a nap at 930am after a fairly nasty thunder
storm last night... Woke up at 415am after a huge clap of thunder and some
MAJOR lightning activity. I grabbed random items of clothing off the floor
and ran out to the back yard to put the cover on the sand box, then back
upstairs only to remember that I had left all the car windows down. Ran
back downstairs and out the front door only to have the screen door ripped
out of my hands and smash against the wall. Lucky me... I had the screen
door handle broken off a week ago, so the door didn't stay closed. Fought
the rain and wind to the car, after telling the screen door to go to hell,
to close the car windows. Back upstairs to bed to hope that B didn't wake
up from the thunder and lightning that wouldn't give up! Kid slept through
a big train going down the tracks 20 yards away at 3am while we were
camping, so I was hoping he'd sleep through this since I really cared not to
deal with him waking up. Dealing with the cat that all of a sudden went
psycho was more than enough, and I guess this bump didn't care much for the
thunder storm either, since it kept me up for an hour with its constant
moving and kicking.
Hooray for little sleep at night! Nap time during the moms group sounds
fantastic to me, and since I don't have to make lunch (they provide all
kinds of snacks) it seems like the perfect time for a snooze.
Tomorrow we have this thing to go to, out at the race track thing that my
dad's friends own. I guess it's a huge deal, and his band is playing there,
which is a really big thing. We're all going to go out to see the race cars
and take in all the action, which is even more activity that needs to be
taken in with no energy. My dad's excited about it, and so is B. Called my
dad to ask how the hell we get there, and he gives me the runaround about
how I need to just follow the signs out there... Yea, well, thanks. Jerk.
I have little clue as to where this place is, other than it's south and near
the airport. Hooray for driving in circles looking for some place I've
never been to. The free food is what attracts me to going the most, so
can't go wrong there.
My rash is also starting to look really strange. Still there, and it seems
to be mutating into some strange art form. I'm hoping it will eventually go
away soon, and everyone figures it should. Everyone has turned into a
doctor or a nurse, so that seems pretty helpful. :|
Norm and I still can't agree and decide on names. I suggested Lydia. He
seemed to have liked it. I think he might still be stuck on Nicole - which,
I'm sorry, I can't stand at all! I'm still going to try and talk him into
Allison. I still think Allison (my grandma is Alice which is a no-no, but
Allison is nice) Anna (since B really is stuck on that name, for some odd
reason) Elaine (my mom's middle name) Allison Anna Elaine. Allie-Anna.
But anyways... I think it's finally time to get some breakfast going. My
back isn't happy with this chair or the computer desk I no longer have!

Yeah that was a killer storm, it woke the whole house from a dead sleep. I
had to run to my office to shut my window because the PC is right next to
it, oh and I had to let the dog in as well, so I feel you sista.

Still haven't gotten a professional opinion on that rash?

As for the racetrack, it IS easy to find if you follow the signs. lol

Luckily B never woke up... But then again, I think I said above, the kid
slept through a train zipping down the tracks while camping! I had to run
out and close the windows to the car and the kitchen and all that, and it
really sucks, doesn't it?? I couldn't be bothered with the computer... I
have no surge protection anymore, but I really didn't give a damn. I was
not going to go all the way into the basement over a computer that hardly
ever works as it is!

Haha no, I'll wait... Maybe it will go away on its own soon enough. If not,
then I'll ask someone else about it. Have too much on my mind and plate to
bother with a rash right now :(

Thanks, Dad. I'm going to go out with my mom. Not sure if we'll follow or
take one car, but between both of us, I'm sure we could find a way to find
it. lol

Hence why I think you HAVE the rash...
