How far along are you, and how does that make you feel?

Are you feeling and or seeing movement? Does that freak you out or are
you the type that pokes the belly to get a reaction?

Are you swelling? Are your feet changing sizes? Do you rings still
fit? Or if you are earlier along, are you bloated? Or softball in the
gut feeling?

Can you sleep on your belly or is that no longer an option?

Are you craving anything?

Do you have or had morning sickness?

Is DH or ds/dd noticing anything, or acting oddly? Are you pets acting
differently?

If you could change one thing about this pregnancy symptom wise what
would it be?

What's your favorite part of your pregnancy so far?

Are people just patting your belly like it or not?

What's the strangest sensation you've felt? Do you have a foot in your
ribs?

Blueberry, strawberry, or surpriseberry?

Are you nesting? If so, what form did it take?

Did you expect pregnancy to be like this?

25 weeks today. it's just flying along.

love the movement. this one doesn't stop. it's a 24hr a day party in there.

> Are you swelling? Are your feet changing sizes? Do you rings still

no bloatiness or anything. have a big round belly, haven't put weight on
anywhere else thank goodness.

> Can you sleep on your belly or is that no longer an option?

never liked it.

> Are you craving anything?

my allowed version of hot chocolate (cocoa powder + sugar + a little hot
water to mix then lots of milk). and sour cream with sweet chilli sauce on
stuff - baked potatoes or bread or whatever.

> Do you have or had morning sickness?

thankfully stopped in 1st trimester

>

DS is really into the pregnancy. DH is pretty stressed & busy at the moment,
so not paying much attention to #2 except the occaisional pat on the belly.

>
> If you could change one thing about this pregnancy symptom wise what
> would it be?

my dizziness even when i am sitting down. i have low blood pressure & m/w
said there is not anything i can do that i haven't already tried. seems that
is why i had my big fall the other week.
but other than that it's an easy pregnancy so i am very fortunate.

the movement.

>

yes more are starting to now. i try to keep my hands on my belly when
someone says hello as i don't like the touching.

kicks in the cervix. that was ouchy.

>

they think possibly blueberry from the u/s but they are not positive so i'm
counting my chickens! don't care either way anyway.

nope.

33 weeks, and grossly unprepared for motherhood... Although I'm more

My entire belly rocks and rolls. I call them "Babyquakes."

Feet - enormous. Ankles - huge. Rings - upstairs on my dresser
because they will go on, but off is a whole different matter. In gut -
basketball.

> Can you sleep on your belly or is that no longer an option?

Oh, heavens, no.

> Are you craving anything?

Cooler weather!!

> Do you have or had morning sickness?

Nope. I've been really lucky in this area.

> Is DH or ds/dd noticing anything, or acting oddly? Are you pets acting

My pets are holding me hostage for drinks - Max the dog from the
bathtub faucet, and Kona the cat from the dixie cups. I think it has
to do with the hot weather.

> If you could change one thing about this pregnancy symptom wise what

I'd lose the fatigue.

> What's your favorite part of your pregnancy so far?

Everyone's so excited, and no one has said, "Oh, God, you reproduced??"

> Are people just patting your belly like it or not?

Yep. Mostly friends and family, though. I haven't had to deck anyone.
Next time a stranger does it, I'm going to say, "I'm not pregnant!"

> What's the strangest sensation you've felt? Do you have a foot in your

The large side rolls are the weirdest.

> Blueberry, strawberry, or surpriseberry?

Surprise, but I'm thinking girl.

> Are you nesting? If so, what form did it take?

Just started. I spent $80 at the pharmacy buying supplies for the
hospital bag (travel sizes, giant pads, infant diapers, etc.) and for
the house. I only remembered about 1/3 of what I need, too, but I was
pressed for time.

Just under 4 weeks left to go. Makes me feel tired, and I can't wait for it
to be over!

> Are you feeling and or seeing movement? Does that freak you out or are
> you the type that pokes the belly to get a reaction?

Still feeling and seeing movement all the time. This thing just doesn't
stop, it seems. I am definitely the one that pokes non stop to get a
reaction!

> Are you swelling? Are your feet changing sizes? Do you rings still
> fit? Or if you are earlier along, are you bloated? Or softball in the

My ankles always feel fat, and so do hands. Rings haven't fit for a long
while.

> Can you sleep on your belly or is that no longer an option?

With one leg up to support, I sleep better on my stomach, and always have.
Sleeping on my back is what's not an option!

> Are you craving anything?

Still fruits and veggies on occasion.

> Do you have or had morning sickness?

Didn't have it once this time around. First 2 were horrible, so this
non-morning sickness thing is something I've come to enjoy.

> Is DH or ds/dd noticing anything, or acting oddly? Are you pets acting
> differently?

DH thinks I'm an invalid and shouldn't do anything. He notices the
movements, and he's grown to talk to the baby more and more. DS is the same
and, oddly enough, is looking forward to a little sister... That's odd to
me, I think, but I don't complain if it's alright! Cat is still strange...
Stupid animal is still constantly curling up with me, nearly right on top of
me, at night, when before she'd ALWAYS sleep at DH's feet.

> If you could change one thing about this pregnancy symptom wise what
> would it be?

I want my energy back before this pregnancy, or the energy I had with the
boys!

> What's your favorite part of your pregnancy so far?

Eating what I want! lol

> Are people just patting your belly like it or not?

Yes, and normally I like it not!

> What's the strangest sensation you've felt? Do you have a foot in your
> ribs?

I don't like the stepping on my bladder. I have a fat head in my ribs and a
foot always on my bladder.

> Blueberry, strawberry, or surpriseberry?

Mmm... Strawberries!

> Are you nesting? If so, what form did it take?

I think I might be... I've started going nuts with packing boxes to move,
and seem to be washing laundry non stop. I also started washing ALL the
floors the other day, and I seem to be folding and refolding baby clothes
all the time, as well as sorting baby's clothes in the closet in order of
color at one time, size another, styles after that and then all over again.

> Did you expect pregnancy to be like this?

No, since the first 2 (both boys) were identical to eachother, and this one,
the first girl, is totally opposite in EVERY possible way.

30 weeks --- happy to be in the home stretch, big, tired,
hot, but actually doing pretty well. DS and I went to our
first tots swim class today, and it was nice to be in the
pool. I could even carry him around, which I haven't done
on land since getting pg.

> Are you feeling and or seeing movement? Does that freak you out or are

He's a real squirmer. I find it mostly reassuring :) DS1
had really good muscle tone at birth, and walked early (9 months).
I wonder if these strong kicks are signs that DS2 will be similar...

> Are you swelling? Are your feet changing sizes? Do you rings still

I haven't worn my rings in about a month. They might still fit,
but I don't really want to try. I'm carrying really high this time,
so I'm not waddling yet, not having to pee unreasonably much. I've
also got the definite basketball thing going on. Folks have started
asking me when I'm due, like they expect me to say "tomorrow"...

> Can you sleep on your belly or is that no longer an option?

Hah!

> Are you craving anything?

Fruit juice has been big recently. Also ice cream substitutes
(ice cream itself is off limits because of increased lactose
intolerance).

> Do you have or had morning sickness?

Gone now, though I can get queasy if I eat too much and
then lie down.

DH and DS are both being really sweet.

More energy.

> What's your favorite part of your pregnancy so far?

That it's going well!

> Are people just patting your belly like it or not?

Just a couple of times now, and not strangers, but friends
whom I've forgiven ;)

> What's the strangest sensation you've felt? Do you have a foot in your

It's not in my ribs, but he does seem to have a couple of
favorite kicking spots. This time I'll know to make sure
the contraction monitor doesn't sit on one of them.

Blueberry

> Are you nesting? If so, what form did it take?

Not yet.

No real surprises. But it sure is harder with a full time
tenure-track job and a preschooler than it was with a part time
industry job and a cat!

I am not feeling a lot of movement due to an Anterior placenta, but I know
she is ok.

I've had a symptom-free pregnancy for the most part. If I didn't have the

I always nest. I'm the DIY queen. Presently I'm in the midst of a
re-wallpapering job in the baby's room. Stripped, primed and now hoping the
wallpaper (bought off Ebay cheap!) is delivered today so I can finish this
weekend.

Nope, thought I'd be sick, look more pregnant, feel more pregnant, have a
sense of someone inside me. Still feel pretty alone in here, even with
movements. Probably a good thing since I'll have less time of feeling like
my body has been hijacked.

40w!. L-day is estimated tomorrow but since I have had no signs
whatsoever (except that the head *is* now 2-3/5 rather than 4/5
engaged) I think I'm going to be fairly late. That's ok but I really
would like to meet my wriggly one now.

> Are you feeling and or seeing movement? Does that freak you out or are

Mostly small movements lower down now, but the occasional whack that
makes me jump:). I give the occasional poke when I can't recall feeling
him for a while, but mostly not. Even a couple of weeks ago when he did
a big shift and wriggle I suddenly thought - om my God there is another
whole person in there!:)

Weirdly my ankles haven't been swollen for a few weeks now, despite the
hot weather we've had in the UK recently. Hands still slightly puffed
but not uncomfortable and still have rings on.

> Can you sleep on your belly or is that no longer an option?

Oh I *so* cannot wait to sleep on my belly again!

> Are you craving anything?

Not in the least. Even gone off Magnums, so only the normal overeating
of chocolate going on.

> Do you have or had morning sickness?

Had full-on nausea till around 14 weeks. Yuk!

> Is DH or ds/dd noticing anything, or acting oddly? Are you pets acting
> differently?

My bloke has gone as scary as Robert's wife:) You'd think it was him
who was about to have a baby. Every time I huff or puff as I turn over
or try to get up he stares at me and asks 'You aren't having a
contraction are you?'. He is terrified bless him:). Next time he asks
I'll say 'When I start grunting as loud as Venus Williams, then it's
time to start getting worried' :)

Cats just whinge for food as usual.

> If you could change one thing about this pregnancy symptom wise what
> would it be?

I've probably said different things at different times but overall I'd
say the nausea.

> What's your favorite part of your pregnancy so far?

Seeing the scans and the wriggling. Although they have also caused me
the most worry too!

> Are people just patting your belly like it or not?

Not for a long time, except one girl who has done it consistently
throughout oddly enough.

> What's the strangest sensation you've felt? Do you have a foot in your

Now I know where the head is it is pretty strange knowing that's what's
moving down there. All the rest I've never really been able to identify
other than being some sort of limb.

> Blueberry, strawberry, or surpriseberry?

Blueberry.

> Are you nesting? If so, what form did it take?

I'd like to believe I would be if we weren't moving in a few weeks, but
frankly I feel too lethargic to bother to do much except watch
Wimbledon, so I probably never would have. Although I did go for a long
walk today! :)

I'm 27 weeks 1 day. I feel pretty good about that.

I can finally feel some regular movement. This is my fourth baby, and I
thought for sure I'd feel movement earlier, but it took a really, really
long time. I poke the belly to get a reaction.

> Are you swelling? Are your feet changing sizes? Do you rings still

No swelling. Feet are the same and rings fit. This is my first summer
pregnancy, and I thought I'd be dealing with that more. I'm not, though.

> Can you sleep on your belly or is that no longer an option?

Still doing belly sleeping, though it's a little modified with one leg out.

> Are you craving anything?

Not really craving, as in I don't HAVE to have them, but they sound really
good: coconut and malted (Whoppers, malted on ice cream, malts... you get
the picture:))

> Do you have or had morning sickness?

Nope

> Is DH or ds/dd noticing anything, or acting oddly? Are you pets acting

The kids have been really worked up lately. Very emotional and clingy.
That, imo, has more to do with the fact we found out the baby has spina
bifida, and our own chaotic emotions. We've also been gone more due to
appointments, and I think the kids aren't dealing well with that.

> If you could change one thing about this pregnancy symptom wise what

The tiredness. I need to get things done, but being so friggin' wiped out
most of the time doesn't seem to be conducive to getting things done.

> What's your favorite part of your pregnancy so far?

Feeling the baby moving.

> Are people just patting your belly like it or not?

People aren't.

Well, this baby likes to thump my bottom. It feels like something is poking
my anus from the inside. Bad touch, baby!

I'm craving Italian food and fresh fruit. Normally I have a big sweet
tooth but I couldn't be less interested in sweets these days.

I was moderately nauseous from week 6 to week 13 (and had some
horrendous migraines), but am mostly feeling better now.

We haven't told ds, age 4, about the baby yet because I don't want six
months of "are you going to push out the baby today?" Once the baby's
movements can be felt from the outside, we'll tell him. Right now, he
just knows that we're hoping for a new baby. He's very interested in
babies in general, and loves being a big brother, so I think he'll
enjoy our new addition, G-d willing. Our 2-year-old is clueless, and
she'll probably remain so until very late in the pregnancy (even if we
tell her, I'm not sure how much she'll "get.")

Putting on maternity. I love looking pregnant!

Not yet. I happen not to mind it, so if it happens later on, that's
okay with me. I think the belly is pretty fascinating myself.

So far, the weirdest feeling is when I lean against the sink or
something, right at uterus-level, and it feels like the baby is sort of
pushing back.
>
> Blueberry, strawberry, or surpriseberry?

Surpriseberry, though I have a strong feeling that it might be another
girl. No scientific reason for it, but I had strong gut feelings both
other times and was right both times, so we'll see. No preference,
though, so pressure's off. :)

Nesting? I'm hardly even getting my housework done!

Pretty much, since it's quite similar to my last pregnancy. I was
worried the first trimester would be harder, actually.

Little twinges. I'll find out with my u/s next week whether my placenta
is anterior or not which is the excuse I'm using to explain why I'm not
feeling as much as I had hoped for by now.

> Are you swelling? Are your feet changing sizes? Do you rings still

Had to buy more third trimester clothes. I've taken to walking around at
home with my pants pulled low and my shirt high and my belly hanging
out. It feels so good in this hot weather (high 90s/100s). In the last
month my nursing bras that I have lived in for years no longer fit, so
I'm back to the series of ever expanding lacy things I bought from V
Secret last pregnancy.

> Can you sleep on your belly or is that no longer an option?

Haven't tried it. Doubt it. Some nights no position seems comfortable.
Most nights given the chance I just fall asleep how I hit the bed.

> Are you craving anything?

I seem to be using this pg as an excuse to eat more chocolate. Got into
some really good cherries this week and have been back to buy more.
Twice.

Not for several months thank goodness for small mercies.

> Is DH or ds/dd noticing anything, or acting oddly? Are you pets acting
> differently?

DS hugs and kisses Venus the fetus (my belly) before me when I pick him
up from daycare. DH has finally started to pat/rub/talk to/ my belly
which he did all the time last time.

Fish are much happier this month after I cleaned out the algae.

> If you could change one thing about this pregnancy symptom wise what
> would it be?

I'm not enjoying it like last time. I think the belly popping has made
things more uncomfortable. I think I'm going to have to invest in some
sort of belly belt thingie because all sorts of bits are starting to
feel sore/stretched.

> What's your favorite part of your pregnancy so far?

Still DS's interaction with his new sibling. This month he asked me how
Venus is going to come out. I told him that it would be just like
squeezing toothpaste out of a tube. That satisfied him.

> Are people just patting your belly like it or not?

Just DS and DH.

> What's the strangest sensation you've felt? Do you have a foot in your
> ribs?

Not yet..

> Blueberry, strawberry, or surpriseberry?

Surpriseberry. Going to have to avert my eyes through that part of the
20 wk scan next week.

> Are you nesting? If so, what form did it take?

Classes finish this week. Yay. My sister's coming into town. We are
going to Ikea! Yes she comes all the way from Australia to help me shop.
I still don't have curtains. We've been in this house for 7 years now. I
am going to buy shelves, cupboards, all sorts of storage stuff. I'm sick
of our home office being mostly in cardboard boxes and spread all over
any available flat surface in the house.

> Did you expect pregnancy to be like this?

Still waiting to enjoy it, but enjoying the first movements..

I did start a prenatal yoga class this month. The first one I loved
probalby because it was the first "me" time I've had for years. The
second and third ones I've loved because it's feels so good to do
something with my body other than mother...
