I started having a bloody show on my due date and had to be induced 12 days
after that. IIRC you can start having a bloody show a few weeks before
actually going into labour. A bloody show will be a blood tinged mucous
discharged. Have you recently had an internal exam at all? This can cause a
bit of a bloody show as well. I'd wager a guess that you are on your way and
you will at least not be overdue which is a very good thing :-) Good luck
and be sure to let us all know when you have the baby. If you need anything
before or after you have the baby feel free to give me a call, I'm only a
few blocks from you!

Take care,

I went into labor 24 hours after I lost my mucus plug.

Usually pretty normal you really should talk to your health care provider
though.
