With DS, I was in and out of the hospital from the beginning of the 3rd
trimester for preterm labor. I was on bedrest for 2 months. DS was a
preemie. So, they say the risk of preterm birth is higher in women with a
history of it, after all, it's the same uterus. For those who've had this
problem, did this hold true?

Definetly true for me. I'm currently on bedrest for the 3rd time. I seem
to have a irritable uterus, begins contracting and causes dialation
around the 28 week mark. Although this time it was 20 weeks as I am
carrying twins. Best advice I can give is prepare, prepare, prepare. I
did with this pregnancy and it is going much smoother, especially
emotionally. Look at it this way, if you are ready to go on bedrest and
it doesn't happen great! If your not ready and it does happen, then ou
have to make all the arrangements while in a not so plesant situation
causing lots of stress and worry. Good luck! Kim

Yep!
#1 preterm labor at 27 weeks, delivered at 36w

#2 preterm labor at 32 weeks, but held out and delivered at 38w

#3 preterm labor at 29 weeks, delivered at 37w

#4 was holding out great until this past Tuesday. I'm now 35 weeks, hoping to
get to 37.
