She's under 3 yo and she types in the computer? Wow.

I don't think she's advanced. Just interested in the computer because dh
does such a lot of stuff on it. She got interested on typing and I spelt
some things out for her using "a for apple" "b for Ben" and words that she
knows, and she picked it up because she was interested. This sort of led
further with her taking what was written down and transfering it onto the
computer. I've got a feeling that she'll be slow writing by hand because
she'll wonder what the point is when she can do it much easier on the
computer. She can't write anything without me spelling it, or already having
it written down, so it's not really very clever.
She's not advanced in other ways, just if something interests her then
she'll try to do it. She's very like dh in that way. For example she's only
learnt her colours in the last few months, and I was getting worried that
she was colour blind :-) because children a year younger seemed to know
colours better than she did.
Her best friends are 15 months older than herself-they're off to school
while she's just starting pre-school, so she tries to keep up with them
which brings her on in some things.

It goes both ways! I read your posts too, and think Matthew sounds further
on than Rachel! I was reading your post on pre-school and thinking he
sounded so mature. Rachel still clings at the beginning and buries her head
in me when her teachers speak to her if I'm around. I think she's yet to
speak to her main leader!
