My wife is pregnant. It is great, however, we couldn't afford those
expensive examination and delivery costs. I heard that we could file
for support at hospitals and get support from government. Does anyone
know how to do it and where to find detailed information? Thank you in
advance.

If we knew where you *were*, it might help.
I will assume you don't have insurance. Medicaid or Medicare (I forget
which one) may be appropriate if you're in the US. I suspect your hospital
or doctor would have more specific, useful information than we can offer.

I believe that you can apply for WIC (women, infants and children) during
the pregnancy and that will help with some of the food costs. At the same
time, you can probably ask about medicaid programs that are designed to help
children in low-income families. In our state (NC) there's a program called
"healthchoice for children" that covers kids in families who have income
below three times the poverty level for their family size which is quite a
few more than would qualify for medicaid. Call your county human services
department, that's usually the starting point for applying for any type of
assistance.
