Constipation and senokot

Hi

I have 21 months old son who has chronic constipation. Recently a
pediatrician recommended *Senokot*. She told us that we need to
monitor his bowl movement for about 6 months while using this product.
I am wondering if Senokot has any side effect while being used long
term.

I've never imagined being a parent is this stressful.

My daughter had such a problem. We cured it with fruits, vegetables, and
whole grains. We termed the phrase "HPMF". She has to have enough HPMF
every day.... That's Happy Poop Making Food. And drinking enough water
and fruit juice is needed for HPMF to work.

Finally, the concept is in her head: eat the right stuff, and no more
problem.
