Which do you prefer and why? I am starting to get interested in that pouch.

I found the pouch to be incredibly user friendly with a small
newborn (well, tiny actually, she was 4lb15oz at birth) but not so
good once she was about 6 months old. Then I bought a sling to use
as a hip carrier. I haven't tried the sling with a newborn but it
just doesn't seem to be as easy for the newborn position as I found
the pouch to be. The sling is much more versatile though and in the
long run I think you would find it more useful and feel more secure
with it.

Good idea. I found a distributor in my area on the Maya wrap website
and I emailed her seeing if I could try them on.

Thanks,
