First off, let me say that I really enjoy reading your posts. You cut
to the chase and offer a wealth of information.

I am just curious, as I am quite new to this group (well, new to posting
and remembering things, that is), do you have formal training, or is all
of your information strictly from experience?

I am very impressed at the number of men who post here and take such an
active role in supporting their bfing wives or SOs. Your posts just
seem to stand out and like I said, I'm curious, as my DH is very
supportive, but I could never, in a million years, see him posting on a
newsgroup offering up his experiences (but, I know he brags when I'm not
around <g> at least he'd *better*).

As I said, I'm just curious.

:)

I second what you have said and emailed him privately to ask that very
question when I first came to MKB. IIRC, he's just a very involved dad and
has a lot of kids (I think 4!) all bf'd and all AP'd. I say *just* in the
sense that he isn't a trained type person, not downgrading by any means!!
WTG Larry!!!

She was 13 or 14 at the time. She just graduated HS this year and is going
to Stanford. She is almost family.

Not necessarily - he says 'recent experince raising a couple' - he could
have raised another couple in the late 70'ies :-)

In fact this is true:

'76 and '81, then again '97 and '99. My oldest and youngest are 21 years apart.

: Um, Larry? wouldn't that be 23 years?

Remember I was only a math major! What I meant can't acutally be explained
without making me seem even dumber than I hare already. :-)

Yes, get at least one of them to live with you. Then you have a captive
babysitter. What's more, both the younger kids absolutely ADORE their
bigger brother, so even when we don't try to foist themn off on him,
they are constantly buggin him, and he is so much of a wuss that he
never says no to playing with them.

Just lucky, I guess,
Larry
