I'll de-lurk to ask a question, as I really value the group's insights
and opinions.

My DD is 11.5 months old. For the past week she has been nursing at
least every 2 hrs., sometimes for a snack sometimes a full-fledged
nursing. This includes waking in the night to eat. She is also on 3
solid meals a day + snacks, plus I always have water available to offer
her.

Is there such a thing as a growth spurt at this late stage in infancy?
If not, does anyone have any clues as to what it may be?

TIA, Stacy D.

I'll repeat here what I have noticed personally, and what I am sure I have
seen posted here. Growth spurts do not stop because children stop nursing.
It doesn't even stop until after adolescence. We just don't notice because
we are not directly producting their food.

How many times have you noticed a teenager suddenly eating you out of house
and home to look up a few days later and notice that they have grown several
inches and put on 10 pounds?
