Are the symptoms the same if you're nursing? I have not had AF return so I

Pain in thighs while sleeping by
bstitt
I am in my 8th month :-) with our first child and am constantly getting
pains in my thigh (whichever side I'm sleeping on (which wakes me up :-) ).
Is that the baby lying on a nerve? If not, is there any way to prevent it,
put something underneath me? I've also considered sleeping sitting up,...

March due dates by
Mary S.
How are all the almost-almost-theres? :) Knee-deep in childbirth
classes? Waking up a zillion times at night, have to pee more often?
Take some video of those alien-baby-earthquake kicks and tumbles, if you
can catch them. Any belly hiccups? Those are the best. How's life
generally treating...

Miscarriage by
Jennifer
Last Wednesday I decided to take a HPT because I was 4 days late. My
cycles are very regular. I took an EPT test on Wednesday and it
should a faint positive line. I knew that any line was good news, so
I started to become excited at the thought of being pregnant. I
waited to get home to tell my...

oh man, I'm doomed by
Vicky Bilaniuk
A local grocery store is selling great big HUGE bags of those little
candy-covered Cadbury milk chocolate eggs. I'm not talking about those
bags that are like one size up from the really small ones (equivalent to
maybe about two small bags). I'm talking a gigantic bag that is
equivalent to, like,...

Hello all...
Well, Leo and I are doing well. Leo is growing and just being an
adorable baby. I am still being monitored by my doctor for my
infection, but it should clear up soon, I hope.
Leo has been given his middle names, finally. His full name is

Lifting a toddler post-partum? by
Irene
This is something that is starting to worry me...how realistic is it
for me to be able to lift my approx 38lb toddler in the first few
weeks post-partum? I know this is a definite YMMV thing, but I will
say that currently I do carry him a fair amount, like up and down
stairs or from the parking...

Gestational Diabetes by
bstitt
I'm supposedly "borderline" gestational diabetic, which means to just watch
my diet. Has anyone ever heard of still being a diabetic "after" the baby
is born?
Thanks,
Kim

Office Shoes for Swollen Feet? by
Nancy P
In my last pregnancy, my feet were swollen up like a pair of boxing gloves.
I wound up wearing a pair of slip-on (open backed) sneakers with the laces
removed for the last 2 months of pregnancy. Those went in the trash after I
had normal feet again. Now, at 27 weeks, my feet are starting to...

Thumb's up for a breech! by
Fer
Well I had my MW appointment today. All is well. BP fine, babies hb was
140, uterus is measuring a week and a bit ahead. According to my u/s 2
weeks ago the baby is right on target for my due date although the MW first
quoted it as July 25! Needless to say I was quite assertive when I asked...

October due dates, TTC'ers, and new members by
Mary S.
Congratulations to any early birds who know they're pregnant already! Is
it a shock, or a much-awaited blessing? How many pregnancy tests did
you have to take before you believed it? :) Any symptoms yet?
For our TTC members, how is the journey going? Need to vent, cry, yell
a bit? Feeling...

Ques about Group B Strep by
KD
Well, I just tested positive for group B strep. I'm 30 weeks along
right now. I've done some poking around the internet and am trying
not to get too worried about it, but this is what I've found so far
that I should do/pay attention to:
* Avoid getting my membranes stripped (which my midwives do...

Short femur - I'm worried! by
Kimberly
I am 23 to 24 weeks pregnant and I just got the results of my
anatomical sonogram from two weeks ago. My doctor told me that they
want me to have it done again in 7 to 10 days because the femur length
was showing relatively shorter then all the other measurements (minus
1 1/2 to 2 weeks shorter). ...

Nuchal translucency test by
A&G&K
I had a blood test / u/s for Down's Syndrome this week. Its quite a relief
to know that the chances of having a DS baby are slim for this pg.
Apparently the risk for my age group at 12 weeks is 1:331, but the combined
age, blood test and NT scan have now put the odds at 1:3300. Hopefully ,
the...
