Just curious by
Chris
It is my understanding that come pickup time for the father, the mother can
simply say "the child's sick, thus they won't be able to go with you" and
refuse to hand the child over to the father. That said, does the father have
an equal right to do the same to the mother when it comes time to hand...

Just curious for an opinion by

As I said before, I never got any child support for my 17 and 18 year
olds. Never filed for it, never hunted anyone down for it, etc.
I have a question, and I would like to have honest answers from
everyone...
It seems that the men here really aren't complaining about child
support in general.
It...

Just curious.... by
Zimm
If a parent dies, the child gets the ss from that parent correct? Does
that automatically stop when the child turns 18 or does the whole going
to college issue factor in to extend that time he/she receives the money?
Anyone know?

She'd probably argue that it's in the child's best interest to get
payments from two men.
Also, check out the quote at the end. It's probably one...

I write this mostly to get it out and sort out my own feelings on the

Just Realized Today by

I'm off probation for contempt of court for not paying CS while the state CS
bureaucracy figured out how to send CS I paid for my post-18 adult daughter
directly to her as required by state law and court order.
I was sentenced to 10 days in jail which was suspended, and I was ordered to
serve two...

Just when I thought I'd seen it all by

This woman tells her doctor that she has had her right fallopian tube removed
already so he only removes the left one.
She was wrong.
Somehow this constitutes the doctor "bungling the operation" and he has a
child-support order slapped on him.
And women wonder why nobody wants to do ob-gyn...

Justice delayed is justice denied by
Kenneth S.
Here's a perfect illustration of the principle that "justice delayed is
justice denied."
The Washington Post news story below is about a court decision that in
effect condemns a congressional intervention in an individual custody
dispute. Back in the mid-90s Congress intervened not once, but...

JUSTICE IS BLIND, DEAF, AND DUMB!!! by

Place yourself in the following situation and tell me what you would
do to "remedy" it:
You are blind.
You have NO INCOME.
You are a diabetic.
You have NO INCOME.
You are disabled; however, you have NO INCOME as you were not employed
long enough to receive disability compensation.
You have NO...
