Ditto, congrats back to you on the birth of your latest wee boy :-) bit scary re the placenta accretia - BIG scary as i understand it. Glad it worked out ok? weren't you doing the home birth thing? glad we didnt lose you. Yeah it was rather scary, and yes we did the homebirth thing. It really wasn't something we could of known in advance. It didn't even appear to have anything to do with the previous c/section as it was a fundal accreta. I've had so many different things told to me from different specialists ranging from I have a 60% increased chance of it reoccurring to it was just one of those random things and probably wouldn't happen again. No one really knows why it happened either, the histology report has just been sent back to the specialist and I've requested a copy so I'll see if that reveals anything new. I had a fabby birth though, and the after care from the hospital was great once we transfered. and our babies arrived on the same day, 11 april! :). I see that, how uncanny, 3 of us on the same day. and we were only a few pounds bigger than you, you would have had a whopper if you went full term! He would of been about the size of Zachary I'd say, he was 10lb 4oz on his due date, so I guess he would of reached about that if he'd had another 2 weeks to grow. Andrea |
