OK, NOW I'm cranky...

MKPers may remember that I ranted a while back about my problems as a person
getting antenatal care locally, while being expected to deliver at a larger
hospital.

I went to the Big Hospital today for what was supposed to be an interview
regarding labour management. Surprise, surprise, my records haven't been
transferred, and despite two separate rounds of phone calls to this hospital,
the correct procedure (at least according to today's midwife) has not been
followed by *anyone*. What is this, Bush Week?

On the plus side, most of my questions and concerns have been answered
satisfactorily, so I can rewrite my birth plan.

On the minus side, it looks like I'll be writing a formal letter of complaint
next week, and/or talking to the Patient Representative at my local hospital.
Someone needs a rocket put under them, and I suspect it's whoever organises
the medical records and related procedures.

Grrrrrrr... attack librarian on the loose!

You go sick 'em! Anyone that inconveniences a pregnant woman like that
deserves a full hormonal blast!
I hope they sort it out sooner rather than later.
