How do we stop the trolls?

I personally have enjoyed this group for going on 10 years (yeah, mine will
be 9.5 on Friday - time does go fast). Anyhow, when I read opinions that's
fine, when I read remarks, that's fine, but when you guys start to use "4
letter words" because you can't remember any other words from the dictionary
you have just reflavored this group. I was part of several groups that I
dropped like a hot cake because no one could "debate." Remember that stuff
from high school? Opinion is an opinion but the rules relate to NOT name
calling. Where are we all going to. Let's keep this group informative, fun
and friendly. I for one, don't appreciate reading peoples remarks when they
have to get personal. We have some newbies here - mom's/dad's to be of
multiples looking for help. I always found people supportive and helpful.
Where have you guys all gone. TROLLS GO AWAY!!!!

I couldn't agree more. You stated that very well, Shirley. The supportive
and helpful people are still here, but seem to have nothing worth responding
to lately because of all the trolls.
I don't know how to get rid of them, but it would be nice if we could. In
the meantime, I will continue to read and respond to posts that are
worthwhile, and ON TOPIC in this newsgroup. I want it to stay informative,
fun, and friendly too.

How do we stop the trolls?

Those are not regular posters, so please don't think this is the new normal for
this group! It looks like someone crossposted something and who knows what
else. It's just been very quiet here lately.

Wanna read a thread about kindergarten? Because we gonna start it real soon!!
boo-hoo!

I went to my middle school today (very long story but I feel like the
traveling summer secretary, anyhow), our girls basketball coach called to
talk to me about my kids. They will be going to my school (what a great way
to keep them under my eye) for middle school next year (not this August).
He said because both are pretty athletic and tall, he'd love to have them
work out with the 5th graders on Saturdays playing basketball and learning
the game. My DD loved the idea, my DS is hesitate but we have time as the
boys games don't start until January. Anyhow, I thought this would be so
cool for them, then they know kids next year when they arrive, get to be
ahead a bit on the game next year and gets healthy exercise!!!! Hope it
works out.
