Nah! This guy made several million a year while in the NBA. It only makes
sense to the baboons in black robes to impute that level of income to him
after his NBA career. After all, he has demonstrated the ability to earn
several million per year so why so they cut him any slack and consider his
real earnings potential?

Lets face it, the politicians have betrayed their male citizens and left
them hung out to dry.
We're now all left to the mercy of these idiots in black robes in a place
they call Family Kourt.

For those not effected now, may God help your sons and grand sons too!

This case has been in the news before. The big print says Caffey owes -
child support. The small print says - and legal fees.

I went through this in my own case years ago. I was max'd out on wage
garnishments for CS and SS so there was no way to increase the garnishment
to get any money paid towards the attorney fees.

What really got to me was the court allowed my ex's attorney to claim the
money I paid covered SS and attorney fees but the amount not paid was CS
only. The court agreed, created a CS arrearage, and allowed additional
draconian enforcement mechanisms intended to collect CS to collect the
attorney fees. (State law prevents garnishment of retirement accounts for
attorney fees but by changing the characterization of the arrears to CS,
retirement accounts can be garnished.) The real betrayal of men is in how
the courts will allow games to be played in how payments are applied at the
discretion of the recipient of the money.

I suspect that is what is going on in the Caffey case. They can't garnish
his NBA retirement for attorney fees, but if they reclassify the unpaid
legal fees amount to a CS arrearage they can go after his retirement
accounts.

Any man that's good enough to pay child support is good enough to have
custody of such child.
