they seem to communicate, using certain sounds that must be words to
them. It is weird. I'd read about such things, but I have to see
things to believe ! Anyone experienced this with their twins ???

Yep. Mom's journal is full of stories of my sister and I "talking"
to each other in "paragraphs" that she didn't hear any words in. (It
started before we actually babbled (no syllables) - but after we were
crawling.)
