I couldn't speak to the face-cloth, but when I was an inpatient for 2
months
during my recent pregnancy, I often had ultrasounds performed in the same
room the doctors use for circumcisions. The circumstraint was in that
room,
straps and all.

They also used straps on me when doing my surgery.
They even used them on my DD when she was 2 weeks old in order to administer
her IV.
