Thimerosal was removed for political reasons, not scientific ones. Do
you accept that thimerosal has nothing to do with autism, now that
we're 7 years out since its removal from childhood vaccines and the
rates of autism are continuing to increase?

Actually, I think there were good scientific reasons to remove
thimerosal from vaccines, including that fact that the vaccine got
mercury into the environment and that, in theory, the ethylmercury might
have some minor negative long-term effects.

However, the risk from ethylmercury in the vaccines is really small. And
the benefits of the vaccines way outweight the risks of the ethylmercury
in the vaccines.

However, autism is not a reason to remove mercury from the vaccines,
because the data overwhelmingly show that autism is not caused by vaccines.
