All Natural Kids Vitamins - Do they exist?
My daughter has been complaining of an upset stomach after taking
either the Flintstone's or Target brand vitamins. They both have some type of artificial sweetener (Traget has Sorbitol) that I know can cause this issue. I myself took the Flintstone and Target brand vitamins for a week and found that I too had an upset stomach. The pedeatric doctor said she knows of no vitamins that do not have an artificial sweetener. We are going to try and give her the vitamins after eating instead of on an empty stomach and see the results, but...... Does anyone know of a chewable brand that is ***all natural*** and that kids would like? Any other alternatives? Do you give your kids vitamin supplements and feel that they are important? |

Taking with food usually helps. |

If your child eats a well-rounded diet, she shouldn't need vitamins. As long as she gets plenty of fruits and vegetables, she should be fine without them. Jeff |

L'il Critters Gummy Vites are all natural, no artificial sweeteners or colors. Target has a Target labelled version (Children's Gummy multi-vitamin) that's a bit less expensive, but they also sell the L'il Critters (for $3. less per bottle than the health food store). if she likes sour candy, L'il Critters also makes sour gummy worm vites & a fruit flavor grubs vitamins that my 5 year old son also likes. my son has been taking these since he was 2 years old. he has problems with some artificial colorings & flavorings, and i refuse to feed my kid artificial sweeteners. lee -- "Fascism would be better described as corporatism, since it is marriage between the state and business" - Benito Mussolini |

I bought some type of gummybear vitamins at the health food store that are fruit-juice based. Sorry I don't know the brand off-hand, but if I remember to, I will post it later. -L. |

We use Animal Parade, they have a multi vitamin in various flavors and a calcium, both hard/chewable, not gummi style. Available in health food type stores, I've also found them at a veyr good price from The Vitamin Shop on Amazon. -Karen- |
