Hello to the first fellow Canadian I have seen.
I have seen your beautiful children on your website.

Thanks. :-)

I love the picture of Colton next to the twins sleeping. So Cute.

There are a few Canadians here, not many, but a few. They might come
out for a roll call.

Please excuse the quality. It is under construction and I am still
learning. :-)

I am Michelle (turning 34 on Monday). Married to DH for 8 years, together for
12. We live 40 minutes north of NYC and would not chose to live anywhere else
in the world.

We were delighted to find out at 6 weeks pg that we were having twins. The
result of several years of ttc, including lots of fertility treatments
including IVF with ICSI which is ultimately how we conceived our children.

Riley (our daughter), and James (our son) were delivered via c-section at 35
weeks 2 days, due to preeclampsia which came on suddenly. Both babies spent
time in the NICU, due to immature lung development and James was rushed to the
nearest level 4 NICU due to several abnormalities with his heart. He underwent
surgery at 4 days old to repair another abnormality he was born with. He is
doing extremely well now and thankfully will never need surgery to repair the
hole that still remains in his heart. Riley also thrives and is an animated
little girl who is wise beyond her years.

Hard to believe but my babies will be 3 years old next saturday. Where did the
time go? They will be starting preschool in September and are both looking
forward to it. I am thankful to be able to be a SAHM.

I'm Marjorie, mother to G&G, almost 12 year old b/g fraternals. I live with
my SO, his stepson who is the exact same age as my twins and I have an
older, college aged son who does not live at home. We live in Silicon
Valley, but will be moving to Boston for the summer to deal with medical
issues my daughter has had from birth. We just can't get the level of care
that we wanted from Stanford, so we're settling in for a long hot summer in
gorgeous rental digs in Brookline.

G1 (son) is profoundly gifted and will be entering high school in the fall,
although where we do not know. He just isn't ready physically, emotionally,
or mentally for public high school, and we're still investigating private
schools for an out of district placement that the school dist. will pay for.
It's been a very long haul this year and if we don't find the right
placement, I'll homeschool him, which I've also done in the past.

G2 (daughter) is entering 7th grade in the fall and she will continue at our
local middle school. I'm not thrilled with the school, but heck it's middle
school and don't they all stink?

We live with an 85 lb black standard poodle and an 8 YO recently adopted cat
who is driving us all nuts howling at squirrels all night long.
