Induction for Polyhydramnios
I'm 36 weeks with idiopathic polyhydramnios that is growing pretty quickly.
Anyway, I've been reading that induction is contraindicated for polyhydramnios. But then I've also been reading that its recommended. Other than the risk of cord prolapse and placental abruption associated with the waters breaking, does anyone know why induction would be contraindicated? Otherwise, if all the fetal monitoring, etc. I'm going for starts to show a problem, what would they do? A C-section? My midwife has only been talking induction. Thanks, Nancy |
