DH likes Land's End, but I find them a bit overpriced for One's
clothes.

But .... since Lyn was looking for things for her tall slender son, I
should point out that I did buy LE pants for One -- once. He's a bit
on the tall side, but with a solid build -- no fat on him, but broad
shoulders, etc. In the length he needed, LE pants simply fell down off
him.

They do have slims, which are quite slim. They also
have many pants for boys that they will hem to order, so you
can order by waist size and get whatever length you need.

Best wishes,
Ericka

I'll add OshKosh to the list, though, as a brand that tends to run
longer and narrower. What about Hanna Andersson -- I can't recall
their fit.

It has been my experience that Osh Kosh runs small all the way around.
And they are a bit spendy.

We have a HA outlet here, and their stuff does run taller and more
slender, but unfortunately they only carry a bit of toddler boy's
clothing. And I refuse to pay HA retail - that's just nuts.

As for "cheapo" brands, KMart carrys a line of very cute clothing for
boys called WonderKids that seems better-made than most, and the sales
at KMart are incredible. I have, in the past, purchased canvas
jean-type play pants for $2.50 or less. Their 3T pants run too big in
the butt for DS, though the length is perfect. I don't know anything
about their girl's wear. I have found 99% of Target's clothing to be
just junk - I don't even shop there anymore except for paper products.

I will look into Baby Gap and a few other places people mentioned -
thanks for all the input!

-L.
