the 1996 misc.kids photoalbum and related thoughts

So I was just sorting through stuff because I'm trying to sell my
house. What should I stumble upon but the 1996 misc.kids photoalbum.
How things have changed since then!!! There is so much spam on
misc.kids these days; it's difficult to sort through and identify the
real postings just looking by the captions. And how the internet has
changed! Now yahoo groups, or msn groups, or whatever... back then
all I was aware of was Usenet. And looking at all the black and white
photocopied photographs... now we can just send people to look at our
snapfish accounts! And when was the last time anyone had a misc.kids
picnic? It's also kind of sad looking at the photos and thinking that
was 11 years ago-- I was 27, now am pushing 39, Andrico was 3 and is
now 15...

Oh, I always wanted to go on one of the picnics, but I was the wrong
side of the Atlantic!

I had one little baby when the album was produced: now I have three,
including a teenager. And just thinking of some of the people who used
to post. Where are they all now? What are their children doing?
