Brief absence
This is Sarah posting from DH's computer, as mine's packed. Along with
most of our other stuff, though unfortunately not all of it, which is somewhat of a problem since the moving men are turning up in five hours' time. :-( Anyway, I'm posting to say that it's going to take us a few days to get our Net connection up & running, though I don't know how long exactly. So it'll be a while before I'm back on line again. See you all then! Meanwhile, I have an urgent appointment with about six million cardboard boxes. Au revoir...... All the best, Sarah -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sometimes I lie awake at night, thinking that we're dead. That all this is just Death's last joke. That we're living one last dream before the lights go out. And then I think, so what's new? -Death, The Time of your life - Neil Gaiman. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Barry@samael |

Good luck with the move.
p.s. with this being a group with a lot of women TTC, when I saw the = header I thought of the absence of ''mens briefs'' !!! "Barry Vaughan" wrote in message = ... Having moved from Poole to Preston in July we've now moved back again! Luckily our house sale hadn't progressed far enough to stop us backing out! We used a large professional removal company for the upward journey but a tin pot cheapie company for the move back "down south". It was a very big mistake and we are currently struggling through absolute chaos. As an indication of their usefulness, they left the washing machine in the back garden near the back door! I had taken ds out as it was simply too dangerous to have him around and dh was busy unpacking and moving stuff from the completely unsuitable places to somewhere slightly less unsuitable so this b*lls up wasn't noticed until they'd gone. The good news is that I've managed to get ds back into his old nursery (first day back today) and he is very happy. I'm yet to see if I can get back my old GP and midwife (I'm now 31+ weeks pregnant). Sooo, I hope your move goes more smoothly than ours. Our broadband is not up and running yet so I'm probably not going to be around too much for the next week or so. Hope everyone keeps well Nik |
