Then why aren't you lambasting Dick Cheney for stating previously and publicly that his daughter is a lesbian? Kerry suggested that Bush actually *talk* to a lesbian that Bush probably had met to find out if it is a "choice" or not. That makes a lot more sense to me than trying to guess by pouring through ancient texts written in Hebrew. And why do you think it is insulting to Mary Cheney to recommend her as someone to advise the president? |

If you think merely mentioning the fact that someone is a lesbian is "trashing" them, you are speaking volumes about your own hatred, bigotry and intolerance. May that single remark signal the end of his political career. Where were you when Alan Keyes called Mary a selfish hedonist? Do you agree with that remark? What a stupid brainless hypocrite you are. As far as I can remember Chelsea didn't actively participate in any campaign. And the right wing hardly respected her privacy at all, and indeed made her the butt of many jokes, when she was barely a teenager. Since she chooses to be a public part of the campaign, She is not a public part. She is a back room worker. That's what makes flipper's comment so trashy, so black-hearted. She's an adult, she's an active part of the campaign, and her father feels free to bring up her sexual orientation whenever he feels it's politically expedient. That makes truthful, non-insulting commentary about her legit. In what way was anything Mr. Kerry said either false or hurtful? Best, Marc |
