Default Formula storage

I've just started using formula for my DD. On the label it says to throw
away any prepared formula 1 hour after feeding begins. How closely must I
follow this instruction? Would it be unsafe to put it in the refrig until
her next feeding? I'd hate to throw out several ounces that she hasn't
finished.

Don't follow it at all. Yes I just use a bottle of formula, if he doesn't
finish it, I put it in the fridge and use it again.

I do the same thing. I asked a doctor and she said they usually consider
formula good out of the fridge for 2 hrs (unless it's a hot day etc). I
always refrigerate bottles my son doesn't finish. He finishes it at the
next feeding anyway!

As long as the next feeding isn't more than a few hours, I wouldn't
toss it.
