Leaking
I've been getting a very watery colourless (and odourless I think) discharge
since 25 weeks (I'm now 29 weeks). I seem to get about 1 big leak a day (about 1 tablespoon of fluid). I've resorted to wearing pantyliners now! Is this normal? Any idea's what this is? Anika, EDD 12th Jan 2004. |

If you are worried it is amniotic fluid, you should have it checked, but most of the times it is ordinary discharge. Amniotic fluid has a bit of a sweet smell to it, whereas normal discharge smells closer to yoghurt or acidy milk. -- -- I mommy to DS (15m) guardian of DH (32) EDD 05/17/2004 War doesn't decide who's right, only who's left |
