Well I just got back from my first AFI .... Intersting experience to say the
least My levels are all perfect so the only reason I am measuring 6 weeks
bigger than I should is cause this kid IS freaking Huge... Maybe now the DR
will have some pity on me and induce early!!!! I don't get to go back in to
see her till the 13 so cross your fingers for me.
Oh and the US tech was sweet and double checked the gender for me since we
couldn't be 100% sure.. AND I WAS RIGHT ... It's a boy. So today was a TOTAL
SUCCESS. A great appointment and Great news. I am sooo happy!!

Well, not necessarily. How the baby is lying and
how you're put together can have a lot to do with it as
well.

Best wishes,
Ericka

Glad everything went well. Congrats on the boy! It is neat that you were
right (my "intuition" was wrong about the sex of my baby!).

Why not? I've pushed out three, and one was gaining on
ten pounds with a head circumference off the charts. He wasn't
any more difficult to deliver than the smaller ones (the
entire labor was only 2.5 hours), and I
didn't have any tearing or any other problems. Barring
physical deformities, it is often quite surprising how
large a baby one can deliver, especially when it's not
your first.

Best wishes,
Ericka
