You should probably post this to misc.kids since very few parents are
still hanging around here.

Does she use the pacifier a great deal? Perhaps you can see if she
will limit it to naps and bedtime when she needs comfort and gradually
wean her from it.

Since my son never had one and my dd gave it up on her own, I think
you should follow your child's lead in this, but I know other parents
have used other techniques such as making a big deal about it on
a birthday or having a *pacifier fairy* who collects them when she
turns three and leaves a gift in it's place like the tooth fairy does
with teeth.
