Just wondering how everyone is going?

Sick of being pregnant yet, or are you still coping well?

Do you know what sex the baby is, or what sex you think you might have?

Back hurt? Feet sore? Baby learning how to break dance in your belly?

Just curious

Ok I'm 32 weeks.

Sick of being pregnant yet, or are you still coping well?

I'm starting to have *inklings* of being sick of being pregnant. LOL

Do you know what sex the baby is, or what sex you think you might have?

Boy, found out at 19.5 weeks, confirmed again at 21 weeks. Lots of "it's
a boy" u/s shots & video. Great to embarass him with when he's older.

Back hurt? Feet sore? Baby learning how to break dance in your belly?

Back is starting to hurt. Baby is ABUSING my tummy! The muscles in my
stomach are starting to feel tired and sore because he's literally
distending my stomach in multiple directions which change on an hourly
basis. DH is even seeing my stomach flop around these days, I ain't
kiddin. This kid is a big strong boy.

Doc said I don't go back for another visit until week 36 cuz my bp is
good (110/60 last visit) I've had no complications so far and baby is
head down, growing at normal rate, with strong heartbeat. After that I
go in once a week until he's here.

I'm afraid I'll be stuck with an ugly apron of belly fat after the
birth. All the fat on my stomach has collected down at the bottom of my
tummy and hangs there very unattractively and more flabbily than any
part of my body ever has been in my life. I'm afraid it's going to stay
there after kiddo pops out and will always be a problem even if I get
downright skinny... looks like as soon as DH starts making money we'll
be saving for a tummy tuck.

Not too bad. Went to the David Bowie concert here on Saturday night in
the pouring rain - it was brilliant! Totally wiped out Sunday
afternoon.

Coping well enough, but starting to realise how much more difficult
things are going to get as I get bigger...

Do you know what sex the baby is, or what sex you think you might have?

Yup, we're having a boy!

Occasionally. Nope. Very much so!

hi,

31 weeks now - due 22nd April. seems a long way still to go - I want
to eat peanut butter, unpasterised cheeses and be able to sleep on my
back (not all at the same time!), plus drink lots of alcohol and get
back into flattering clothes again. I think I am also an expert in
forecasting where the nearest toilet is within a 100 meter range -
it's as if my bladder is magnetically tuned to where the nearest one
is. It's going to be a girl - but I had (for the 1st 20 weeks, been
convinced it was a boy). This might explain my undiminished love of
chocolate and sweet things! Not so much kicking inside as `squirming'
and wriggling!

Still coping pretty well. I don't think I would be doing as well if I had
to work (waitress). I try to get up and out every day, but I'm only good
for a couple of hours of activity at a time.

We decided not to find out, but I suspect a boy. I don't have any good
reason for that. I have dreamed of a fluffy black kitten, and also a half
baby/half puppy.

All of the above! Sometimes I think this kid is trying to throw me out of
my chair!

Just curious

Could be better - very uncomfortable - still working, and keeping up
after 3 year old. Not sleeping too well.

Sick of being pregnant yet, or are you still coping well?

Definitely sick of being pregnant (33 weeks), probably exaggerated due to the fact that we're moving tomorrow, and I've been packing, etc.! Have a very weird feeling that I will not make it to 40 wks - DS was born at 38 wks, and I don't think I can take 7 more wks of this!

Do you know what sex the baby is, or what sex you think you might have?

We are having a girl (confirmed by amnio), which is nice since we already have a 3 yo DS.

Back tends to bother me mostly at night, feet okay, baby moves around all the time! Sometimes pressing on bladder, which is no fun!

Still doing well physically, but I can see that needing to slow down a
bit is just around the corner. Not sick of being pregnant yet, but as I
mentioned in a post having to do with maternity clothes, I had a rude
awakening in the Old Navy fitting (or NOT fitting room) when I saw my
big ol' self in the full length mirror, one of which we do not have at
home. Quite a shock!

Trying to get things organized around the house, and made some good
steps towards that over the weekend, thanks to a trip to IKEA. That's
mostly what's got me concerned, is just getting everything ready and
cleaned and organized in time. Well that, and money, and the lack thereof.

Chose not to find out what kind of baby, although I have a reasonably
strong feeling it's a girl, though not as convincing a feeling as I had
that ds was indeed an s! Dh keeps waiting for us to have some big
ceremonial sitting down together in all our spare time to choose a name,
and he's driving me mad! I told him to write a list and I'll write the
list which is in the back of my mind, and we'll sit down in a spare
moment and start crossing things off. He's insistant that we ought to be
sitting down together and brainstorming names together, and I'm like,
leave a list on the table before you race off to work and I'll get back
to you before one of us passes out asleep in front of the tv at 10:30!

Feet are good as long as I stick with the right shoes, hips getting a
bit more chronic, but I've got tricks up my sleeve to relieve that. Just
have to keep pacing myself with a 3 1/2 yo to contend with. Still
meaning to get into the bath in the afternoons a few times a week,
hasn't happened yet.

Ds is being so very cute about this whole baby thing. I took him into
the city today to pick out some clothes and a blanket and stuffed animal
for the baby, and we had a nice little time out together. He picked a
bunch of stuff all with ducks, one of which we'll use as the coming home
outfit and for first pictures of baby and big brother.

35 weeks, very sick of being pregnant, but coping well. No real problems
to speak of. Some mild migraines (I am *so* thankful they are mild); the
advance warning auras are a bigger problem than the headaches that follow.
The aura typically occurs near the center of my field of vision so while
it lasts I cannot read or drive or do much of anything that I would normally
be doing. Still working. Plan to work to the very end. I am facing a RIF
(reduction in force, ie. layoff) but I am being kept on long enough to use
up my accumulated sick leave. If I quit before the layoff due to pregnancy,
then I cannot get unemployment; I want to be able to show I am willing and
able to work. Left sacroilliac joint hurts a lot, nose stuffed up, almost
daily nose bleeds too. Cannot sleep comfortably, and wake up feeling tired
and aching; probably why I am having the migraines. Gaining enough weight
that I am not getting harrassed by the medical folk, but still wearing my
non-maternity "fat" pants (just barely). Nesting consists of gradually
cleaning and organizing the house and buying a very few items (infant car
seat, new; baby clothes etc, used).

I am planning a short dude-ranch-esque horsey vacation for myself and DH
one month after the birth. Baby's grandpa will come along as nanny, and we
will experiment then with limited bottle feeding. By then I expect to be
utterly stir-crazy.

I have been "bad" throughout; coffee, unpasteurized cheese, wine, a little
whisky (not nearly enough, though!), raw egg whites, raw sushi, spicy food,
riding horses up to month 7 (when it started to get uncomfortable), travel
in small unpressurized planes over the Rocky Mountains (incredible nausea!),
travel overseas, declining pointless medical "tests" "just so you'll know".

**** happens. I don't believe in performing largely symbolic acts of self-
denial as a preventive ritual against **** happening to me.

Mainly doing ok, though I'm definitely starting to feel like I need to
slow down a bit. I'm alternating between really wanting baby to be
here, and needing a few more months to get ready! Mainly, we need to
sort out some of our daycare issues, and also whether or not we are
hiring someone to fill in for my maternity leave. Our latest plan is
to go through a temp agency - it'll be a lot less money upfront than a
head-hunter, and we don't have to worry about whether or not we'll be
able to keep the person on when I'm back. (We've had horrible luck
with want ads.) But, depending on whether or not we find someone,
I'll either have to come back ASAP full-time, or possibly have the
luxury of coming back 3 days a week for the first few months at least.
So, among other things, I don't know if I'm looking for FT or PT
daycare...

Do you know what sex the baby is, or what sex you think you might have?

Ultrasound was inconclusive, but dh is convinced it's going to be a
girl. I keep trying not to decide either way, but there are these
really cute dresses in the window of the Carters Outlet that keep
tempting me... (I have been doing mallwalks to try and keep some sort
of exercise going in the cold and snow.)

Back is pretty good, and so are the feet. Baby always seems to wake
up right when I want to go to sleep - I know it's normal, but it gets
annoying!

I realized I forgot to mention how cute my ds is being about the baby
lately, too! He'll come up to me and pat my belly and say, "I love
baby." Aawwww... Also, he's started playing with my old baby doll -
he's very protective towards it. I think partly he's starting to
understand a bit what babies are like because one of the cats at
daycare just had kittens, so he kind of gets that babies don't do much
at first! However, I can also tell that he's going to have sharing
issues, too, which is going to get, well, interesting. And while he
says he loves the baby now, I'm guessing there will be days he also
says stuff like "Don't like baby!" since he alternates between loving
and "not liking" Mommy and Daddy! Aah, toddlers.... ;-)
