He's also doing something a little odd, i don't know if it's relevant~ when he's going to sleep he thrashes his head from side to side, or rubs his face against my jumper...? Oh, and he's also scratching his face! it's a bit of a downer, as he's just come through a long period of dealing with 'colicky' pains, and has only had a short time without showing signs of pain.. : ( A few days ago I was exhausted by all his crying, and from constantly attempting to soothe him without having much luck for any length of time- then i realised he's in pain again!! He's only 13 weeks old, and I thought there'd be some time between the colic and the teething... Do you think he's teething? Whether you do or not, what do you think i should do? he's almost imposible to settle.... (poor bubba) lovey d Sounds like it could well be teething. One website I found said teething can start at 2 months. I'd ask your doctor if you can use something like Orajel to numb those gums. Or Tylenol for pain relief. The good thing about teething is that it's temporary, so maybe it'll go away quickly, or maybe it already has? Are you sure he's not hungry? Could be a growth spurt waking him up at night hungry... - Lynn |
