LOL....I wish this thread had a different title..
anyhow CarolAnn, you talked about play groups for babies under 18
months, what is it ?
is there something I dont know about,
there is something in my state where babies play and roll on balls etc.
starting at 6 months.
(I forget what its called)...
I took chloe to chuckie cheese, she loved it, she was all
eyes,,;-))...and smiles...
she even rode the barney ride, with me holding her..;-))
I'm always looking for something for us to do where there are other moms
and babies..;-)
I think Jill or someone just had a thread on this subject but I didnt
read them.

I think i'm going to pass halloween up this year,
chloe still just weighs 12 pounds, and it might be so cold, so i'm going
to hand the candy out while DH takes the older ones trick or treating...

I will (weather permitting) take chloe along to the pumpkin patch, hay
ride,,etc...;-)))

I cant wait till next summer, theres a place in Philly, its called
(sesame street park) big water park, she already has her bathing
suit..;-))
it will be nice because everyone will enjoy it because there is big
stuff too for the bigger kids..;-))
and chloe will just be walking around at that time..;-))

BTW, I love Korean food!!!!!!...;-)))))
Ummm, as a matter of fack I'm having a craving now..;-))

I must be on Christine's blocked list. I haven't had a reply to any of my
posts.....hmmmmmmmmmmm....

Afaik, Webtv doesn't have a block senders option. But that could be a
new feature in a recent upgrade.

It is a jelly candy (like a firmer jello) that comes in little cup. They
make them in flavors such as grape, lychee, mango, strawberry. Each cup
(more like a 1/4 cup) has fresh fruit in it as well.

These are the ones with no Konjac AND are larger than the mini ones that
were recalled due to choking.

Speaking of choking, I read in the paper today that a 3 year old choked to
death on a hotdog over the weekend. Very sad.....

: LOL....I wish this thread had a different title..

Now the thread has a new title!!

: anyhow CarolAnn, you talked about play groups for babies under 18
: months, what is it ?
: is there something I dont know about,

There is a group of mother's who meet a couple of times a week for Play
Dates. They are mostly age specific (under 18 months, walkers or
prewalkers) and are held at different venues (YMCA, Park, Museums, Book
Stores, someones home...). I haven't been able to attend any of them b/c
they seem to be held mostly at 9:30 am and I have to work. Okay, I DO have
to work in the morning/early afternoon and am usually still trying to get up
and out of the door at 9:30. LOL!

Each Play Date is sponsored by one of the members. Additionally they have a
Mother's Night Out once a month. This is usually dinner and a movie.

: there is something in my state where babies play and roll on balls etc.
: starting at 6 months.
: (I forget what its called)...\

If it's what I think (a huge box full of balls that kids can dive into) I'd
stay clear of it! Germs, throw up, feces...smothering...yuck!!!

: I took chloe to chuckie cheese, she loved it, she was all
: eyes,,;-))...and smiles...
: she even rode the barney ride, with me holding her..;-))

I haven't been able to get to a ChuckECheese yet. I'm not sure I could
handle the noise.

: I'm always looking for something for us to do where there are other moms
: and babies..;-)

Tell me again, which city do you live (you can email me separately if you
prefer). I lost your address (and would like it again!).

: I think Jill or someone just had a thread on this subject but I didnt
: read them.
:

:

I really wanted to take Morgan to a Pumpkin Patch and hay ride. I'm not
sure if we'll make it though.

: I cant wait till next summer, theres a place in Philly, its called
: (sesame street park) big water park, she already has her bathing
: suit..;-))

Oh my G-d! I am so going to enjoy this Fall. It's finally cool enough. I
think the holidays will be fun, too.

: it will be nice because everyone will enjoy it because there is big
: stuff too for the bigger kids..;-))
: and chloe will just be walking around at that time..;-))

Right!!! Wow, maybe I will lose weight because of the running around.

:
: BTW, I love Korean food!!!!!!...;-)))))
: Ummm, as a matter of fack I'm having a craving now..;-))

I love it too!!!

Well, the costume my mom got for Max is really warm, just FYI. It's a
bag thingie that I think the poor kid will sweat to death in. I was
thinking that we could use it as a snow suit, it's *that* warm. I have
no idea where she got it. Probably Walmart. She loves Walmart.

way to go Dave. My sister has Dyslexia (not saying you have it just letting
LaTreen know)and is she does spell check if it gives her more then one word
she is lost. So spell check wouldn't work for her.

I feel for you Christine and big big HUGS to you.

LaTreen (or, should that be, "LaTrine"??)

Firstly, complete and utter DISrespect to you for your unnecessary
insult to Christine. There is no reason why she shouldn't vent her
feelings if people are nasty to her and you calling her a "stupid cow"
is not going to ease the situation. However, your brain is obviously
far too small to work that out.

Secondly, I don't know if you have noticed, but the website posting
device does not have a spell checker with it. Not at my end it doesn't
anyway.

Thirdly, if Christine is by chance Dyslexic (and I don't know if you
are, Christine, so apologies for this remark) then she isn't
necessarily going to know how to spell every single word that you,
LaTrine, might have stored in what little brain you obviously have.

You wouldn't like it if someone called you a "Stupid Cow" so don't do
it to others. Do to others as you would be done by.

There is a small % of really nice people in this group, but unfortunatly
they get run out by all of you hormonal, psycho, idiots.

I got more medical advice (here) than I did my own Dr.
however, if you want to vent about something, you guys LOOK for
something negative to pick on. I only lurk here once in awhile, but
everytime I do, you guys are fighting about something so damn stupid!
IE. ( are you a patient or client ) WTF?
how stupid is that..don't you guys have anything better to do than
criticize people?
you guys really hit the bottom fighting over that!

innocent people come here to make friends with similar intrests and you
guys do nothing but knock them for it..yes, people ask for opinions and
they get that, but WTF, why treat people like they have no
feelings...there is a human being behind the keyboard!

People need told about it!
I noticed when one certain (bitch) ''dont want to name her'' was
told off, she is no longer a bitch!...hummm, go figure!

you guys bashed the hell out of me!

and just to lt you all know FWIW, I didnt mean what I said to, Tori,
Denise, Nan, and whoever else I might have missed, and I apologize, I
just wanted to ''be''the basher to let you guys see how it
feels, If you dont like a persons post then simply ignore it, if you
dont have anything nice to say then say nothing!
people do have feelings!

I was bashed for wanting suggestions for baby shower games, and I
thought the ''tootsie roll'' in the diaper game was really cute,
and my replies were,,,
1 ''that is the most disgusting thing,,blah blah ''
2 ''that has nothing to do with babies''
and even worse replies than that, yes I was hormonal at the time, and
also in tears at your comments, I was bashed for many other topics, IE i
wanted to stay home with my 3 or 4 month old baby and not take her to
the freaking beach and was called a ( disattached SM ) WTF! and man
other bashings from day1....your'e CRUEL people.

well let me tell you...POOP in a diaper has everything to do with
babies!
you guys have NO sense of humor,

I really hope your'e (and you know who you are) not really bitchy like
this in RL, because if you are, I really pity your kids!,,not to mention

your poor husbands

Chill out,
giving your opinion is wonderful but being a down right bitch is
uncalled for....

I hope there are some lurkers that agree.
and I know there are, because I have had A lot of personal emails before
(again wont mention names) but they agree with me.
but ppl are too scared to admit it because there .are. nice people
here too, and you ''can' get good medical advice (while youre a
patient) for 9 months!

some of you remind me of, low life, Jerry springer material.
while some of us are Dr. Phill material.

No, they don't. They are still there. Although there are some idiots and
psycho's on this list, thankfully for the most part they are well
outnumbered by the nice, normal helpful people. Now hormonal, well that's
another story. But it's a pregnancy ng, so you have to expect some
hormones. : )

There is a lot of good advice here, as well as some strange people. You
pick and chose what you want to take. Focus on the positive, ignore the
negative. Better yet, killfile the people you don't like.

You know, some people like to debate. That's their thing. It doesn't
bother me, and sometimes I like to participate, and sometimes I don't.
Sometimes I read the whole thread, and sometimes I hit "Mark as Read." Just
because people are disagreeing with one another, doesn't make them fighting.
For the most part, I think people were having an honest and respectful
discussion on the client-vs-patient thing. If you aren't interested in a
thread, delete it.

You know, I understand why you went on a revenge rampage, but I gotta say,
it probably did more harm than good. I didn't have a real firm opinion of
you before hand, but after reading those purposefully mean posts, I sure
developed an opinion. : ( Some people are brash and upfront and
opinionated, and you were offended by their opinions, even if they didn't
set out to offend you. But, you set out to offend people, and personally, I
find that a much worse "offense".

Frankly, I think you take posts too personally. Yes, talking about your
step-parenting skills is personal, but no one here KNOWS you. If it's not
true, brush it off and ignore it. It's tempting to get all fired up and
write a caustic reply, but you'd be better served to save it in your outbox
and reread it in 24 hours. If you still want to send it, go ahead. I find
that many times I don't bother sending such posts, but I have been known to
write a few.

I was bashed for wanting suggestions for baby shower games, and I
thought the ''tootsie roll'' in the diaper game was really cute,
and my replies were,,,

Okay, you were not bashed on this thread. People drifted the topic and
talked about what they thought or felt about shower games. No one said,
"Christine sucks and is stupid because she likes shower games." That would
be bashing you. Instead, people said, "Oh, I hate shower games." or "I
think the tootsie roll diaper game is gross!" Neither of those reponses has
anything to do with you. Get over it.

Seriously, there will always be people who disagree with you, and there will
always be debate on ngs, and there will always be thread drift. That is
just a part of USENET. If you don't like it, you can unsub. But if yoiu
stay, you have to realise that this is the nature of the beast. You cannot
hold grudges. Life is too short. There was a disagreement, it got resolved
or otherwise went away. Clean the slate and move on. I think you'll notice
that other people will too. If you hold grudges, then everything you read
from everyone will be colored by your anger and hatred.

Jamie, I know you have been gone so I don't know if you have had a
chance to read all of the previous posts in this thread, but this issue
has pretty much been resolved.
