Default why gas probs mainly at night/early morning?

hi there,i am trying to work out if there is any connection between
something we are doing and the gas related moveing around our 2mth old
does from midnight to noon. the rest of the day she is ok. she is
breastfed with & we are giving her additionaly 120ml of formula (she
was like this before formula)

any ideas.

Perhaps you could keep a food diary and try eliminating possible culprits
(there is an elimination diet for breastfeeding mothers available somewhere
online, and perhaps the good folk at misc.kids.breastfeeding might be able
to help you find it as well as give good advice if you also post this
question there).

I doubt it's anything you do. All 3 of mine have had gas problems in the
evening/night, and been okay the rest of the time. I was told that was usual
timing.
They usually start getting better about 3months.
