Default 37 Weeks Preggers w/Twins--Anyone Else?

Meg wrote:

Hi!

Just looking for anyone else who's 37 weeks along with twins. How are
you feeling? What are your plans for delivery??

We are looking at a C-Section next Tuesday (Feb. 3rd). Feeling
anxious and nervous about the whole surgery thing and also the coming
home with two little ones! (Already have a 2 y.o. DD). But, we are
totally thrilled to introduce two new children into our family.

Physically, I'm feeling very BIG! I'm still lucky that I can get
around, but not very fast or far. Sleeping is challenging and
experiencing other 9mo. pregger "pains".

Look forward to hearing from other Twin Moms to Be!

I too have twins, with an older toddler. You will be very busy, so
accept any and all offers of help that come in.

My delivery was a planned c-section on Dec 22/03 at 38 weeks. I was not
prepared for how overwhelming it is with a three year old thrown into
the mix.

Best of luck to you...

Thanks everyone! Right now, our part of PA is getting ready for round
2 of winter weather...I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the twins
don't decide to come early!

Hi Megan!

Congrats on the twins! I am the father of 2 absolutely beautiful 18 month old
twin girls. I know you stated that you wanted to hear from other moms, but I
had to respond. I don't know why, but I get excited when I here of other people
having twins, even when I don't know them! We also have a five year old son
that helps with his baby sisters tremendously, despite them ganging up on him
and actually making him cry!
I do have some interesting information for you however: My wife actually told
me that she is wanting at least one more child in the future. There is
absolutely NO WAY that this is possible due to my recent state. My wife has
been able to completely get rid of her birth control because since the birth of
our daughters, I have become completely disfunctional. In other words, I can"t
perform for fear of having triplets next time! haha, not really.
Funny thing is, even though it has tested our marriage immensly, we always
manage to pull through , and if we do have just a single child next time, I
will feel cheated!
Good luck and I hope you will post how things work out!
