Why can't the same approach be used for Child support problems.
Parents with real income problems need help, not a government bully
breathing down there backs!

But that makes no income, no nice little government jobs, see?
As far as the article, I can sum it up in four words and a symbol:

Zero tolerance = zero intelligence

The reason why we have judges is for the "fitting" of sentences onto
crimes. Treating the hardcore alcoholic the same as the kid who got a
little too high spirited at the prom is absolute idiocy and a complete
abjuration of your common sense and your intelligence.
