The typical repsonse to these two questions actually does not suprise me.
The general public is completely uneducated about the "system". I've heard
many times before about the "stop whining and take responsibility for your
kid" line too many times. It is that public mentality that is one of the
biggest hurdles to overcome when attempting change or reform. If child
support was called lifestyle support or simply alimony, for example, reform
would be a little easier to sell. But, gosh darn, child support MUST be for
the child, it says so right there in the title.. you scumbag.

It simply amazes me that if you fight a traffic ticket, or fight your
property taxes through re-assessments, you would be a hero. Fight about
child support and family law reform and you will be stoned. It boggles the
mind.

Yes, it's so easy for them when they don't have to write that huge check
every month.
But they sure whimper a lot when their insurance rates go up or even gas by
just a few cents more.

Yea, these are the same people that want to start a revolution when they get
a $200 speeding ticket! LOL
