Default Foreskin Restoration; O-ring Method

In case you were circumcised and don't agree with your parents'
decision to have a go at you with sharp instruments (talk about social
blind spots--think of all the milder forms of diddling with a boy's
penis that would get someone locked away for a lloooong time), you may
be interested to know restoration is easier now than ever.

I discovered that o-rings are an elegant and effective method. I
originally bought a set from CutUncut.com for about $20, but, like
everyone who has tried this method, discovered that the rings sometimes
fall off. (Cut/Uncut.com charges about $5 for just 2 replacement
rings.) One solution is to add a small piece of tape to hold the ring
in place. Another is to do what I have done: order packs of 50 in your
size at Allorings.com for about $7 a 50-pack. (I also wear mid-thigh
briefs, which usually traps a displaced ring before it disappears
forever.)

I have found several advantages to the o-ring. 1) it's simple to put on
and remove for washing and urination 2) it appears to be just a little
ring ornament you're wearing around the foreskin of your uncut penis,
so it can be left on without drawing undue attention in the gym or
changing room, and 3) it immediately gives the penis an uncut look
without a lot of contraptions or tape attached, which is a
psychological boost. Basically, you pull up the skin, put on the ring
and fuhgetaboutit.

Beginners don't really need to buy a set of the pricey Cut/Uncut
product if they don't want to (though take a look at their web site to
see how it's done). You can buy various sizes of o-rings made of Buna
rubber in the plumbing department at hardware stores such as Home
Depot, and then, after learning which size works best, order SILICONE
o-rings (less reactive to most people's skin) in bulk from
Allorings.com or similar outfit. These rings are sized by ID (Interior
Diameter); most men will find a ring sized from 13/16" to 7/8" ID will
work, so buy a series increasing by increments of 1/16" and try them on
at home. The thickness of the rubber ring itself should be 1/8" or
perhaps 3/32" if you want a bit more flexibility. They'll cost about 40
cents apiece.

Sizing note: one indication the ring is too large is if the "foreskin"
retracts and takes the ring with it down around mid-penis. Use
gradations 1/16" smaller in ID (Interior Diameter) until you find the
largest size that does not do that. This is important because nocturnal
erections are important to tugging a new foreskin, and you don't want
to wake up with one of these strangling your penis. There are better
ways to choke the monkey.
