Default Roll Call

Hi!
I'm Karen, former tv producer/editor, now a SAHM to beautiful
fraternal girls, Stella & Anna.

My dh, Jim, is a great hubby & dad. He is the writer & artist of a
wonderful line of children's books, "Amelia Rules!" We were married
for just shy of three years when our twins were born 8 weeks early in
October, 2003.
They spent 3.5 weeks in the NICU and are now doing great.

I come to this board every now and again and always appreciate the
kind words and support.

Great to meet everyone!

Hey there!

I'm Gayle (34). I don't post very often now that my babies are born (wonder
why? ha ha). My dh Rob (34) and I have very active, getting into
everything, 9 month old babies. I found out I was pregnant with triplets at
8 weeks pregnant, after going through 2 proceedures of IUF. At 30 weeks I
was admitted into the hospital because I was going through preterm labor,
and was showing signs of pre-eclampsia. I also came down with an awful case
of PUPPPS. Andrew, Benjamin, and Elena were born September 24, 2003 in Park
Ridge at 33 weeks 1 day. Andrew weighed 5.2 lbs, Ben 4.5 lbs, and Elena
3.8. All were released from the hospital by the time they were 2 weeks old.
They have not had any complications, and as of yet, have been developing for
the most part as full term babies.

I am originially from Hawaii but call Oregon my home, and my dh is from
California. BUT, we currently live in Illinois. We have been married for 5
1/2 years. I was a teacher, now a SAHM. My dh is a Network Administrator
working at a local high school.

Hi everyone,

My name is Mirethy (32). I am originally from Panama. While studying in
(funny) central Texas .. Texas A&M .. I met my husband, Arjan (33). Our
daughters are Kreychelle Dabell and Draychelle Dabell, born may 12, 2003.
After 3 years trying to get pregnant, a rough pregnacy and a even worst
delivery,
we are very thankful to God for our precious daughters ..

Okay, that is too cool! We are book fanatics in this house. I'll be checking
this out on our family "date night" tonight at Barnes and Noble. (Yea, I know,
we lead really exciting lives LOL!) It must be extremely tough to make it in
both of your fields...kudos!

How cool! A celebrity in our midst. I spend way more money on children's
books than I do on books for myself. They're more fun to buy.
